SomaRoot is home to practitioners offering bodywork, therapy-adjacent care, counseling, coaching, somatic support, and other aligned services. Each practitioner operates independently, with their own approach, credentials, schedule, and booking pathway.

Space use is curated so that the center remains aligned with its purpose and respectful of the practitioners and clients using the building.

A Home for Body-Centered Work

SomaRoot grew out of Brae Onnah Sisk’s long-standing commitment to embodied arts, therapeutic practice, and community care, including the earlier roots of Chico Body-Wise.

The center offers a local place for work that often crosses categories: bodywork, counseling, somatic education, movement, song, ritual, training, creative practice, and small group facilitation.

What ties these offerings together is a shared respect for the body, the nervous system, relationship, and creativity.
